You will be responsible for developing performance test strategies/methodologies, scripting,effective execution of the performance strategy, troubleshooting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise with HP LoadRunner or comparable performance testing tools. Your first project will center on web-based technologies, and you will be testing a high-volume transactional application. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Create performance test plans, scripts and executes performance test scenarios * Analyze business and functional requirements to ensure requirements are clear and testable * Develop test plans, prepare test environment, test scenarios, data and test scripts * Develop and maintain scalable, reusable performance test scripts using HP LoadRunner or comparable tool * Simulate thousands of concurrent users for load scenarios to determine response times and bottlenecks * Monitor resources and collect metrics during the tests in order to determine the impact of load/stress testing on the infrastructure * Support and participate in performance tuning with the technology team * End-to-end management of assigned projects.
