Please mail your resumes to [EMAIL PROTECTED] *Position: Transaction Process Facility - TPF Senior Developers Location: Denve, CO Duration: 1+ year * *Application Delivery *** - Develop cost effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing complex software applications from detailed specifications. - Consult with other developers on existing applications across ISD and applicable vendors to ensure sound design. - Ensure completion of high level and detail design documents. - Provide high-level estimates in response to customer requests. - Create technical solutions for complex business requirements. - Perform end-to-end technical assessment and feasibility analysis. - Develop quality assurance test plans and either direct or conduct quality assurance testing. - Address quality considerations, e.g., coding, testing, debugging and documentation, during project life cycle phases. - Ensure development of project test plans to include system, integration and user test components. - Review technical specifications, user publications and other product related documentation for correctness, content and clarity. - Ensure completion of code walk through including appropriate follow up. - Attend various project and team meetings aimed at successful completion of project deliverables. - Communicate project status to project managers. *Application Support *** - Perform preventative maintenance and maintenance upgrades. - Jointly manage enhancement/new development projects with product developers to ensure quality software products are delivered on time, on budget and with quality to customers. - Perform root cause analysis, track variances and execute corrective action plans to ensure system wellness and optimization. - Analyze incidents such as outages and functional problems and involve appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues. - Provide timely and effective response and follow-through in the resolution of production, system availability and response time incidents. - Follow established incident management and problem management processes. - Interact with vendors, airline partners, and support groups to resolve incidents and problems. - Ensure resolution of critical production incidents as they arise. - Participate in meetings and crisis calls to quickly restore normal service to the customer. - Provide high level estimates in response to customer requests. - Communicate project status to project managers. - Create technical solutions for complex business requirements. - Perform end-to-end technical assessment and feasibility analysis. - Serve as an internal consultant to provide technical direction at all stages of the application development lifecycle. - Responsible for quality of system and project components developed by assigned Programmer Analysts. - May provide technical leadership to projects and collaborate with clients, System Analysts and management on the definition of requirements and the design of applications. - Leads a team of staff and/or contractors through design, build, test and enhancement of application solutions. - Instruct, direct and check the work of other programming personnel. - Provide technical expertise in one or more highly specialized areas of applications development or operations research. - Monitor project schedules and cost.(needs more detail and definition) - Conduct open and interactive meetings on a regular basis. - Participate in strategic, technical and business process planning. - Identify infrastructure improvements that will enhance the stability, reliability, and efficiency of the system. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
