DataStage Developer

Duration: 9 - 18 Months 
Location: San Francisco, CA



Candidate MUST have experience with DataStage Server Edition 7.5.2 and
DataStage Enterprise Edition 8.1.1

Minimum Qualification:

. 7 years of experience in Oracle development including SQL and
PL/SQL Stored procedures.

. 5+ years of experience with DataStage.

. Must have experience with DataStage Server Edition 7.5.2 and
DataStage Enterprise Edition 8.1.1.

. 6 months to a year of experience with Oracle 10g 

Responsibilities Include:

. Upgrading and Migrating ETL DataStage environments from DataStage
Server Edition 7.5.2 to IBM Infosphere DataStage 8.1.

. Effective project planning and migration of all projects from
DataStage Server Edition 7.5.2 to IBM Infosphere DataStage 8.1(on Linux).

. Extensive experience designing relational (conceptual, logical,
physical), star schema and dimensional data models for data warehouses and
business intelligence environments.

. Design, Development and Implementation for WholeSale Loan Services
Datamart and various projects using DataStage. 

. Tuning Oracle PL/SQL Stored procedures and re-write them in ETL
DataStage. 

. Writing extensive Unix shell scripting.

Preferred skills:

. Experience with Autosys is strongly preferred. 

. Experience with NDM is preferred. 

. Experience with Version control tool IBM Clear Case is preferred.

. Good understanding of Cognos reporting tool.

. Experience in Finance industry is preferred.

We are looking for DataStage Developer for one of the client's in San
Francisco, CA for 6 Months contract position.

The client is looking for consultant who is good experience in DataStage
Development with 7+ years of IT Industry experience

Also need experience with Cognos for at least 2 years of experience.

The consultant needs to come for in-person interview after telephonic round.
