Need Local to Johns Creek , GA Direct In-Person Oracle DBA Location: Johns Creek, GA Duration: 4-6 months Rate: competitive Interview Process: F2F..no phone screen. need local candidates or within neighboring state Required Experience: * The client is looking for a knowledgeable DBA with solid experience in UNIX/Oracle in client/server environments. Oracle 9i - 10g; 11g is a plus Oracle ASM: Must have hands on experience in Oracle ASM and be very familiar with migration of ASM, raw/file system files of databases. * Oracle RMAN; Must have hands on experience with RMAN based backup/recovery and migration using transportable tablespaces. Upgrade and migration experienced required; cross platform migration experience * Strong UNIX (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, & Linux) skills required; shell scripting * Must have strong SQL/Shell scripting skills. * Must be able to employ Oracle advanced features including; triggers, stored procedures, replication, dataguard etc * Must be able to install, configure, and use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)/Grid control. * Must have very strong problem determination and resolution and communication skills. * Must be willing to train and educate team in technical processes and procedures as may be required Must be willing to work off hours if required.
