SQL Server Developer

Plano, TX

4 - 8 Weeks

 

Knowledge and Skills:

.   4+ years designing and programming complex stored procedures,
views, data aggregation/manipulation through table joins/queries

.   4+ years developing SQL UDF's, and Stored Procedures.

.   Experienced and highly skilled in analyzing database performance
factors, including experience with monitoring tools and tuning procedures.
Database and index tuning experience are absolutely required.

.   Experience with database design applications, including SQL
Server Management Studio, SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Manager and SQL Query
Analyzer.

.   Demonstrated experience in working with legacy SQL Server 2000
data models. 

.   Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

.   Strong understanding of relational database structures,
theories, principles, and practices. 

.   Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment.

.   Excellent professionalism, communication, and interpersonal
skills.

 

Requirements:

.   BS degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized
training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), or related
discipline.

.   Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Microsoft SQL Server
Database Developer and/or Administrator covering versions SQL Server 2000
upwards. 

.   Minimum of 2 years of experience using SQL Server performance
features, including SQL Profiler.

Plano, TX

 

12 month contract 

 

Need Locals Requires In-Person After Telephonic 

 

Required Skills:

Good candidates must have excellent skills in SQL coding and performance
tuning.  

Working knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server 2008, including database engine,
SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS, is essential.  

Experience with Oracle DB 10.g is a plus.  

A successful member of this project must be a self motivated, goal getter
with excellent problem solving skills.
