*Please send me update resume to* b...@catstaffing-us.com Job Title : Software Test Engineer Location: Washington DC Duration: 6 Month Contract Must Be Local Sureshot Placement Required Skills : Software tester duties on this project may include: Independently plan, manage and execute the testing of the developed software, Learn the documentation tools used by WSDOT (specifically Enterprise Architect from Sparx Systems). Utilizes expert knowledge of testing techniques and methodologies to manage and execute functional software testing. Assist Ferries Division business teams with User Acceptance Testing and IT system implementation and integration to ensure that customer requirements are met and that projects are completed on time, within budget and are consistent with IT standards. Specific duties include: Interact and consult with the Project Manager, developers, and Ferries Division business teams concerning testing status, bugs, and requirements clarifications. Responsible for the development of a test plan Responsible for the development and execution of test scripts. Responsible for documentation of bugs found during testing and communication regarding same to the Project Manager and developers. Manage project bug tracking and resolution processes so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed. Promote an open environment of cooperation. Maintain open channels of communication between team and management. Documentation of work to include: Test Plan Test Scripts Traceability Matrices Problem Tracking Reports/status Customer Acceptance Document (template to be provided) Other project related documentation as required by the IT Project Manager Looking forward to hear from you.
