Windows Server Administrator who has strong Sharepoint Location: White Plains, NY Duration: 3 months * What the client wants is really a good Windows Server Administrator who has strong SharePoint (MOSS 2007) experience. * Should be proficient with Windows Server 2008, SQL Server, MS Exchange, IIS Manager, Active Directory, SMTP, Performance Monitor and Powershell (for script writing). * Prefer some experience with Kerberos but if they're a strong administrator they don't have to have it. * Need a strong, independent personality. Essential Job Functions: * Should monitor the Event Viewer and SharePoint logs for errors and be prepared to troubleshoot any problems. * Check search crawl logs. * Understand SharePoint security and web application/site collection/subsite structure well and understand the problematic issues related to these features. * Experience with MOSS 2007 sites. Provide strategic guidance on best practices for utilizing its functionality. * Understand using InfoPath and SharePoint Designer. Experience SQL Server and Oracle connectivity. * Must have the ability to work independently within a small team and follow through on tasks. * Independently troubleshoot and research challenging problems. * Work with end users and manage requirements.
