The Project Manager (*Deployment PM*) role provides project leadership on
highly visible enterprise service deployments. The DPM ensures that
projects sustain momentum, stay on schedule and maintain good communication
and optimal resource management in a dynamic environment of competing
priorities.  Primary responsibilities are listed below.



*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*

· In-depth participation and ownership of strategic processes for
various technologies to ensure business objectives and standards are being
met.

· Facilitation of decisions around project scope and schedule with
key stakeholders.

· Evaluation of work estimates from the technical implementation
team and is prepared to approve or revise those estimates with the team.

· Building and managing the work breakdown structure against
project milestones, allocate resources and track and report project
progress, risks/mitigations, etc.

· Establishing and maintaining accountability for project team
members, while managing resource allocations collaboratively with other
project managers, program and operations leaders to ensure team members are
appropriately tasked and load balanced across projects and day-to-day
maintenance/operational work assignments.

· Consistently communicate the appropriate level of information
(status, risks, outcomes, etc.) up to leadership as well as across project
stakeholders and team members ensuring critical visibility for the right
audience including:

· Utilization of enterprise resource planning data to create and
analyze reports.

· Gathering and organizing enterprise project management data in
order to frame decision-making and goal setting by project stakeholders.

· Uses highly developed project management expertise in providing
responsibility for all project management deliverables which support
projects and programs including project planning, scope management, quality
management, resource management, schedule management, risk management and
communications management.

· Uses highly developed analytical skills in creating project plans
and establish timelines to ensure milestones are achieved using Industry
accepted tools, i.e. Microsoft Project.

· Change Management: Ensures the change management process is
utilized effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and scope/risk
management.

· Manage adherence to internal Project Management best practices
and PMI methodology and procedures.

· Maintain a positive rapport with the project teams. Maintains
effective working relationships with the company’s product
managers/sponsors and their staff.

· Assures the creation, existence, quality, and accuracy of
necessary project related documentation.

· Accountable for the successful transition of projects to
Operations.

· Participate in technology planning and strategy activities to
ensure deployment objectives are being addressed.



*QUALIFICATIONS: *

* *

· A BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Systems, or related field preferred.

· Minimum 5-7 years Program Management. Desktop management or
software deployment experience, preferably using the PMI methodology.

· Practical experience with System Development Life Cycle and
project methodologies.

· Prior work experience in a matrix environment is required.

· Must possess Business Analysis skills, 5+ years interacting with
project sponsors and writing technical requirements.

· Must be able to perform in the role with no direct supervision.

· *PMP certification is MUST. Active PMI membership is desirable.*

· Experience with working with remote resources.

· Experience with integrating separate companies and different IT
platforms.

· Proficient understanding of software architectures, MS products,
software lifecycle methodology, and program management competencies.

· Strong verbal and written skills (clarity of messages, crispness
in delivery, timeliness, and accuracy) required.

· Excellent judgment, issue/risk management, problem resolution,
team building, negotiation, and decision-making skills, particularly when
working with virtual teams.
