Will this involve any revision of the physical network hardware surrounding the incoming VoIP products, or will it just be a reconfiguration of the existing DHCP/IPAM to make sure the new Cisco VoIP equipment gets assimilated into the network correctly? *There will be network changes applied to Cisco switches and routers as part of this project. DHCP/IPAM is not used to directly manipulate the DHCP and DNS tables in our enterprise—IPAM is used mostly as a documentation system.* 2. Are they using a separate IPAM software besides the routers' own built-in DHCP servers? *Yes, we are using a separate IPAM software package (IP Control). Most DHCP services run on Enterprise servers.* 3. Are they using a 3rd party VOIP service like Vocalocity (aka Vonage Business) to manage extensions & voicemail? *No we do not use a 3rd party VoIP service to manage extensions & voicemail. This project will have very little to do with managing extensions and voicemail systems.* -- *Vinod Prem *| *Gantec Corporation* + 1111 Plaza Drive, Suite 470| Schaumburg, IL 60173| www.gantecusa.com : *vi...@gantecusa.com <vi...@gantecusa.com>*|*Phone: **847-585-3456**|** Fax* *847-770-4733* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
