*Job Title* Hadoop Developer *Project Location* Richfield MN *Duration* 6 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI-Phone+Skype* * Key Responsibilities* •Serve as a lead contributor to a team of IT professionals focused on big data technology, own technical project delivery, lead in implementations, communication of results to leadership, alignment of big data implementation patterns and techniques with IT strategy and architecture •Provides technical leadership and expertise within the Hadoop environment using technologies such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Impala, HBase, Flume, ZooKeeper, Spark/Spark Streaming, Kafka and other Big Data technologies •Strong understanding of Hadoop, BI, ETL, and data warehousing •Coding skills in Java, Python and Scala.. •Develop and maintain a strong relationship with business partners and IT partners •Deliver big data programs in a regulated environment *Quality System Requirements:* In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. *Qualifications:* •Undergraduate degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field required •MBA or related master’s degree preferred •Must have architected full lifecycle of data warehousing projects including ETL, Data Models and Business Intelligence tools •Strong foundational knowledge and experience with distributed systems •Development experience in Java, Scala, and Python •Hands-on experience authoring SQL code •Experience working with software development tools (e.g. Eclipse, Git, JIRA) •Experience working with version control tools (e.g. SVN, GitHub, CVS) •Excellent interpersonal communication skills including oral, written, and listening skills •(Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills •Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed, action-oriented environment •Experience with data analytics, (including Tableau), is beneficial •Experience in life science industry is highly benefic -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
