Job Title : Hyperion Essbase DBA Location : Oak Brook, IL Duration : 6 Months The primary responsibility of this job is to support the administrative functions of Hyperion Financial System in the role of DBA. It will require the installation and configuration for Essbase and Hyperion products for Production and non-production environments. In addition, set up the Hyperion best practices. *Job Description:* • Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase Server 9.x, 11.x and other Hyperion applications like Financial Management, Planning, Performance Scorecard and Strategic Finance • Knowledge of Oracle 11g database • Knowledge of Oracle 10g application server and Weblogic application server • In-depth experience with Installation/Upgrade/Patching with Hyperion Essbase and other Hyperion applications • Prior Migration experience of Planning and HFM application from non-prod to Prod environment • Knowledge of Essbase, Planning and HFM Administration • Knowledge of Essbase, Planning and HFM Performance Tuning • Experience in installing/configuring Essbase and Hyperion products • Experience in supporting Essbase and Hyperion environments • Experience with Integrating Hyperion with OID Server desirable • Hands-on experience with Data Management tools FDQM (Financial Data Quality Management), DIM (Data Integration Management Adapter) and ODI (Oracle data Integrator) needed • Knowledge of third party HTTP load Balancer • Working Knowledge on Linux platform required • Experience with Financial Management DCOM technology • Oracle DBA skills is a big plus *Requirements:* • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems related field and/or two to four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 4 years experience with Essbase in a DBA role • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve problems to effectively apply a broad range of professional concepts, practices and methods in a moderately complex and diverse circumstances • Experience developing, deploying and maintaining reports using Hyperion Essbase as the data source • Two years or more experience working with Hyperion systems in a financial or development/support capacity • Experience with financial systems and procedures, verification of data and solid understanding of financial statements and concepts • Excellent communication and listening skills, ability to analyze requirements through conversation and example, working with end users and systems analysts • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines *Additional Skills:* Essbase - Configuration and Setup -- *Regards* *Kumar Gourav* *Sr. Technical Recruiter * *RG Talent Inc.* *Phone : 510 443 0758 ext 116* *Fax No. : 510-952-4633*** *Email : kumar.gou...@rgtalent.com <dinesh.bal...@rgtalent.com>*** *URL : www.rgtalent.com* *YIM/GTalk --> ad.gourav* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
