*Title : ATG technical lead Location : Dayton, Ohio Duration : 6+ Months* Description: The ATG technical lead will be the key person responsible for the overall technical architecture of delivering an ATG eCommerce system. This will include providing technical guidance with the ATG application design and architecture, integration design and architecture and enforcing technical standards. The ATG technical lead will work closely with the business team/users and the overall program management team. Essential Functions Manage and deliver components that identify, design and implement technology and creative business solutions. Transforming business requirements and functional design into technical solutions that will meet the needs of the business. Provide overall technical architecture guidance and lead teams through detailed technical design and development. Build upon web applications based on ATG application server, content management personalization engine and ATG eCommerce platform with custom code. Develop and document customizations to meet requirements including system design, screen changes, workflow flowcharts and custom documentation. Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements and better user experiences. Perform Design reviews with eCommerce development teams onshore and offshore. Contribute to deployment strategies with deployment engineers. Qualifications 6+ years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience Bachelors Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience ATG vendor training, ATG-certification preferred 3+ years leading ATG eCommerce technical designs and implementation for eCommerce customer facing solutions (B2B, B2C, B2E) 2+ years experience managing and/or leading teams, including client and consulting staff Ability to lead and manage ATG projects through technical design and implementation A key understanding of several core technologies like Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Oracle, SQL, HTML, and XML is essential Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organization skills Qualification Rating Programming Languages Java * 3 (Moderately Strong) of 5 (Expert) and 2+ Yrs.
