Senior Java Websphere portal Developer
Pittsburgh, PA / Strongsville, OH
Required:
* 6+ Years of relevant IT experience in Java, JEE, Web development
on IBM Websphere Portal platform Ant scripting , unix scripting, integration
with iNotes, sametime etc ,
* With good communication skills
The candidate should possess excellent technical skills in:
* Java 1.5+,
* IBM Websphere Portal development
* J2EE - JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Tag Libraries, etc.
* Java and J2EE Design Patterns
* Database Concepts and SQL (preferably on Oracle DB),
* Web Application Frameworks - Spring MVC or Struts,
* ORM Tools -Hibernate or iBatis
* Web Services
* JUnit
* Ant scripting
* Unix
J2EE experience on IBM WebSphere Application Development Platform is
preferred.
Bachelor of Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
Should also have Technical Leadership skills.
* Java/J2EE based web and application development support esp on
Portal platform
* Hands on Experience with SQL Development
* Experience in leading/directing MIS Development Team.
* Strong problem solving skills: able to logically break down a
problem into smaller manageable parts to solve.
* Possess strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal assistance
* Works with the client independently to understand requirements.
* Design Develop Code/Modules based on requirements.
* Create documentation of projects worked on for maintenance and
future training purposes.
