*Tasks to be Performed*

This position will be responsible for supporting activities related to the
design, development, and implementation for United’s complex Revenue
Accounting and Operation databases. Job requires participation in 24x7
on-call rotations for production-support for Oracle and SQL Server
environments in HPUX, Solaris and Windows. Responsibilities include working
with IT Dev, Application and Production Support teams on supporting and
implementing application changes, database enhancements, and database
production support including incident, problem and change management,
extensive troubleshooting, Oracle quarterly patch installs, Oracle and MS
upgrades, running data-pump exports/imports to refresh data, backups and
restores to refresh into non-production environments, working with
distributed transactions via database links, and running daily data-fixes
among many others. Support during 24X7 during O/S monthly maintenance
outages, etc. This position will align with the portfolio application
development teams to deliver best-in-class databases to achieve business
goals.

*Skill set Details*
