Responsibilities:

   - Develop design to support releases
   - Develop Drupal solution for releases
   - Perform code reviews
   - Develop ideas for improving and extending the solution, including
   modules
   - Escalate any decisions, issues, and risks and report regular status
   - Keep supervisor informed of issues impacting the development work or
   other teams
   - Attend key client or deliverable meetings as needed
   - Support functional resources in triaging end user support requests

Requirements and Qualifications:

   -
   - Developing Drupal websites and web applications
  - Set-up and configuration of Drupal sites
  - Creation of content types
  - Implementing Views, Taxonomy and References
  - Development and customization of Drupal themes and sub-themes
  - Building page layouts with content and blocks
  - Building navigation with menus and toolbars
  - Configuration of users, roles and permissions
  - Understanding how to utilize PHP to filter, process and output HTML
  and JSON
   - At least 3 years of experience with:
  - Programming language such as PHP, Python, Perl, .NET, Ruby, Java,
  C# or other language
  - Implementing websites in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery/AJAX

Preferred Skills

   - Experience in Agile development and familiarity with Agile tools
   - Experience working with Responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap,

Job Tittle: Drupal Developer
Location:  NYC, NY

Mandatory Requirements:Candidate should have experience coding Cascading
Style Sheets and PHP programming.
Candidate must have hands on knowledge of Drupal theming, and Drupal module
development.
Candidate must also possess strong communications skills and be comfortable
meeting with upper management and working with and mentoring less
experienced Drupal developers.
Candidate must have a solid understanding of Enterprise Drupal web
architecture.
The candidate is required to possess a working knowledge of Linux, and/or
Solaris operating system.
Candidate should know how to resolve performance issues associated with a
very large scale Drupal web site.
Job Description:
The government agency is looking for the Drupal Developer to work with a
team comprised of the agency’s web master, developers, Database
Administrators and executive staff to help implement various Drupal web
sites within the agency’s existing website environment.
The candidate will lead the various government agency’s staff in all areas
of the Drupal development life cycle.  The candidate will make
recommendations on best practices and methodologies.  Candidate will work
hand in hand with the content owners in order to design the web sites’ look
and feel.
The deliverables are the various web sites that need to be converted into
Drupal.
