Job Title: QA Analyst Position
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 Months

Local candidates preferred. State gov experience preferred. Must have
experience with Rational tools.

Analyze requirements, design and execute test plans in a fast paced
environment.
Drafts, revises and approves test strategies, test plans and scripts to
ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy
Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that
software meets specified standards and end-user requirements
Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all
problems are resolved
Acknowledge the importance of customers by listening to, understanding, and
anticipating their needs, giving high priority to customer satisfaction
Follow applicable security and change management processes
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Ability to work in the office on a regular basis
IBM Rational Appscan experience
The Individual:

3-5 years of relevant software QA technical experience coupled with
experience developing testing scenarios using requirements and design
documents
Have at least 1+ years of experience using software quality assurance
testing tools (IBM Rational TUP toolsets)
Computer skills and knowledge of hardware & software required.
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications.
Experience or familiarity with the Medical Device/Life Sciences Industry
preferred.
Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a
clear, focused and concise manner.
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals from various countries
and vastly different cultures
Ability to function effectively in a complex rapidly changing environment
Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and work effectively
with minimal supervision in a team environment
Ability to work non-traditional business hours in support of IT operations;
Willingness and ability to learn on the job and explore new technologies

Job Title: QA Analyst Position

The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a contractor resource
to assist with the development and implementation of NC Families Accessing
Services through Technology (NC FAST) as a Test Scripts Writer. Duties
include analyzing business requirements for testability and completeness
using Functional Specification Documents, Business Requirements Documents
and Technical Design Documents, developing requirements into test
conditions, cases and scripts, development and execution of automated
scripts using HP Quality Center to thoroughly test software to ensure
proper operation and freedom from defects. This position is responsible for
reviewing test cases and other testing artifacts to ensure the accuracy and
completeness of all test artifacts. This position coordinates testing,
reports and tracks testing problems by providing reproducible test cases,
works with other product team members to diagnose and recreate problems as
well as prioritize and implement solutions and close problem reports. This
position is responsible for test scripting data collection and analysis
according to the project plan schedule and ensuring adherence to standard
practices and procedures.

Experience and proficiency in using HP test tools including Test
Director/Quality Center 9.0 or higher and Quick Test Professional (QTP) 9.5
or higher Required5Years
Experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.

Experience with requirements analysis and automated test cases/script

Experience with manual or automated testing, testing tools, writing test
