Basic DBA responsibilities Ensuring Backup/restore integrity and abilities Designing/maintaining new and existing database solutions/objects (databases, stored procedures, etc.) Maintaining connections and links to our Oracle environments (linked servers) Ability to optimize and provide SQL (TSQL required, PLSQL a strong plus) language support for internal clients The candidate MUST be ready to support our environment 24/7 if the needs arise, and must be reachable at all hours through the length of this contract. DTS Package maintenance experience; SSIS Package design, development and maintenance. Ability to work in a close team environment as part of the group, but also the ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines. Positive attitude, looking to communicate and transfer knowledge of database best practices. Financial Services Experience.
