JobTitle: *Websphere Portal Administrator* Location: Albany, NY Pay Rate : DOE Duration: 18 month contract * * *Description:* The Integrated Justice Portal is a 24 x 7 environment which presents secure services and applications to the NYS Criminal Justice agencies. The Integrated Justice platform is migrating to a SOA platform with the introduction of Websphere Process Server and Business Monitor products. Several new projects including Forte-to-Java and the interfaces to the new SABIS system are under development and will utilize the Service-Oriented Architecture within the IJ Portal environment. The supported product set includes WAS, Websphere Process Server, Websphere Business Monitor, DataPower, MQ Series, Websphere Portal, and Message Broker. These products exist in a multi-data center, clustered environment. The technical staff will assist in supporting the Websphere SOA environment, troubleshooting problems, and assisting development staff as needed. Off hours support rotates between team members on a weekly basis. Eight (8) years experience in supporting IT systems. Two (2) years experience with the installation, configuration, and/or administration of IBM Websphere Process Server and/or Websphere Business Monitor. Two (2) years minimum experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Websphere Application Server Versions 6 and above. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience administering Websphere Portal V6 or V6.1 in a clustered configuration. Experience administering WAS V6.1 and /or WAS V7 in a clustered configuration. Experience administering Websphere Process Server and/or Websphere Business Monitor in a clustered environment. Experience administering IBM’s WCM (Web Content Management) in a Portal 6 or 6.1 environment. Experience supporting Message Broker and MQ Series. Experience with disk sharing technology (GPFS, NFS) in a multi-node, clustered environment. * Thanks & Regards....?
