HI, Hope your doing good, Job description is below, Please reply back with your updated resume ASAP…. * * *Java Software Engineer * *Merrimack, NH.* *6+ months*** *Rate: $35/HR * I know this is low rate but if you have someone who is interested please send 6+ months $35 c2c max-we had someone interview last week that almost got the job so it is definitely fillable. * * * * *Summary* Fidelity Wireless & Alerts is looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer/Developer to work collaboratively on applications in a dynamic, can-do, 24x7 rapid application development and operations environment. This person will create, coordinate, and maintain the software for existing and new projects, test and then to migrate to Production. The candidate will participate in wireless development projects, 24x7 on-call rotation production support, technical documentation, technical diagramming and research new technology. Fidelity Wireless & Alerts (FWA) is responsible for all systems engineering, development, deployment, operation, and maintenance of Fidelity's wireless and alerts systems. *Responsibilities* The ideal candidate will be mature, self-confident, team-spirited, and creative, possess strong written and spoken verbal skills, and will be a highly self-motivated and -accountable problem solver with a proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems in a coordinated team effort. Candidates should be able to demonstrate successful multi-tasking skills in a combined development and operations environment as well as to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing with both systems and non-technical business representatives and clients. Qualifications We are seeking a strong systems engineer/developer that will have the following qualifications: · 5+ years of extensive software development experience are required. · Strong development skills in Java, Webshpere/Tomcat, javascript, XML, xHTML, HTML4, HTML 5,HTTP Protocol,HTML, SOAP, spring/struts, UNIX, Linux · Strong Market Data development experience · Experience with Reuters and/or Activ Financial APIs preferred · Tibco Product knowledge a plus, RVRD, EMS, AMS · Experience using IBM/Rational ClearCase · Strong Unix & Linux Skills and Scripting Experience · Oracle Database Experience a plus · Strong test plan writing skills · Financial brokerage Knowledge skills a plus · Strong and mature interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills are required. · Demonstrated skills with the full systems development life cycle process are required. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required · Resourceful ability to perform and/or support a 24x7 on-call duties periodically throughout the year is required. · BS Computer Science or equivalent is required; MS Computer Science or equivalent is preferred. · Experience and demonstrated ability using advanced methodologies (UML, data flow diagrams, work and process flow diagrams, object oriented design) is required. · Abilities to work independently and in a team environment, to give and receive direction to and from team members, to deal with constant change, and to participate in continual process improvement are required. · Must be capable of interacting with individuals at both technical and non-technical levels. · Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills are required. · Strong technical aptitude and personal willingness to learn additional skills as required by the business. · Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects with a minimum of direction are required. · Data mining skills (e.g. MS Access or SQL) are preferred. · Fidelity infrastructure and applications knowledge is desirable.
