Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and willing to adapt to a changing environment. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to value diversity are required. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and learning skills are also essential. Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Computer Science/MIS or related field and 3+ years of related professional work experience OR a combination of education and related professional work experience totaling 7 years Experience developing and designing web applications Experience with Perl, CGI, HTML, XML, and SQL Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of XML technologies (e.g. XML Schema, DTD, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP) Demonstrated expertise in using development tools (e.g. CVS, SVN, ANT, JUnit, Eclipse) Knowledge of ORM frameworks (e.g. DBIX) Practical experience building MVC applications and applying design patterns Excellent analytical, decision-making, and learning skills Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to value diversity Motivated to develop self and willing to adapt to a changing environment Discusses ideas and writes in a clear, organized, and complete manner Works independently or in groups. Job Title: Perl Developer Location: Pleasanton, CA Duration: 6 Months *Perl Developer- Windows, AIX*, Pleasanton, CA Summary: We are seeking a consultant to perform scripting for Windows and AIX using Perl as the language. Ideal candidate will have technology operations background from a large enterprise environment. Former systems administration experience is a plus. Former Project Manager or Business Analyst work a plus. Resource will need to work directly with the customer to scope, create, test, implement and troubleshoot scripts required by the customer. Scripts will be used to automate routine tasks. Nice to have skills: Familiarity with Korn shell, Visual Studio tools and PowerShell a plus.
