Has work experience functioning in both areas. Works closely with customers to understand current business reporting and data used for those reports. Identifies customer needs for new reports based on their existing ones. In conjunction with the project Tableau SME and with the project senior Applications Engineer, redesigns the customer reports to run under Tableau software which generates visualizations for new agency dashboards based on customer data. Works closely with the small contract team composed of a Tableau SME and an Applications Engineer in the redesign of these existing customer reports to insure Tableau is fully utilized in the new reporting tool to display on dashboards. A background in mathematics is highly desirable as the agency customers work with complex mathematical algorithms which are utilized in generating their current reports. Preferred Basic Qualifications: MBA degree or CPA desired. Review current as well as future requirements, assess the current production GG configuration and provide written recommendations. Successful candidate may participate in the execution of the recommendations. Oracle GoldenGate is currently configured on Four (4) HP NonStop servers for uni-directional and bi-directional replication for High Availability for TMF Audited and Non-Audited Enscribe databases. Environment Review Meet with management and technical staff to review project goals Facilitate discussions with team to identify business requirements and review the following: Latency Active-Active Conflict detection and resolution Exception processing Data filtering and manipulation Capacity Planning Current and future use cases Review current architecture Review current Oracle GoldenGate parameter settings on up to Four (4) Oracle GoldenGate instances Perform a database analysis as it relates to application files included in replication Assist with discussions toward application functionalities in reference to HA, DR and Active-Active replication architecture. Assist with discussions as they relate to capacity planning and performance Work with technical staff to establish a method to measure the throughput of the different Oracle GoldenGate processes Review performance data as it relates to Oracle GoldenGate processes. Analysis of performance data should include: Latency Impact on I/O, CPU (“Central Processing Unit”) Impact on Network bandwidth. Throughput for Oracle GoldenGate processes Capacity Document findings and recommendations Meet with management and technical staff to discuss proposed changes Assist in developing a change process plan to ensure proper implementation of proposed changes Meet with management and technical staff to review Oracle GoldenGate product functionalities Meet with management and technical staff to discuss any remaining project related items Skills & experience requirements: The Oracle GG Analyst should have a minimum 8 solid years of supporting GoldenGate Software installations and tuning and 8 years of developing and/or supporting financial (card service) applications such as ACI/Base24, Connex/Advantage, etc. Needs a strong HP NonStope systems experience and knowledge including performance tuning. This individual should understand financial services as well as how to address quality issues within complex, heterogeneous environments.
