* Duration:6 Months* *Job Summary:* The person hired for the position of *SAP Technical Specialist - PI *will guide the technical design, configuration, mapping and development processes for our SAP integration strategy using SAP PI (Process Integration). The incumbent will manage and execute these processes to provide the required deliverables for 3M’s global deployment of SAP. * Primary Responsibilities*: - Collaborate with functional leads on design of functional specifications - challenge specs if better solution exists. - Develop detail technical specifications based upon functional specs. - Provide expertise with integration technologies and enforce interface standards. - Make recommendations to development teams to achieve best practices and high performance. - Review and approve technical specifications to ensure adherence to PI standards. - Provide initial estimates of effort for design and development. Validate detailed estimates from suppliers. - Provide oversight during PI development. Ensure adequate unit testing. - Perform PI development as needed to validate designs and maintain skills. - Key participant for code reviews. Ensure standards are followed. Document action items and ensure follow through. Provide final approval of code. - Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated PI issues. Coordinate with SAP Support, Participate in crisis meetings as necessary. - Maintain technical knowledge of SAP application components and architecture. *Basic Qualifications:* - Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university - Minimum 7 years IT experience - Minimum 1 years of ABAP development experience - Minimum 3 years of Java development experience - Minimum 5 years of development experience with Process Iintegration 7.0 or higher *Preferred Qualifications:* - Experience with PI 7.31 - Experience with configuration aspects of PI (includes BASIS) - Strong technical skills in all areas of PI including: PI Workbench, PI Integration Builder, PI Enterprise Service Builder, PI System Landscape Directory and NetWeaver Administrator - Complete understanding of PI mapping techniques, and PI Adaptor configuration including JMS, JDBC, webServices, SOAP, iDoc, and RFC proxy - Experience with UDF and Java Mapping. - In depth knowledge of XML, XSLT, WebServices and SAML standards - In depth knowledge of PI infrastructure architecture - 3+ years experience with deploying PI across an enterprise - Full understanding of BASIS support and procedures - In depth knowledge of iDOC, ALE and Partner Profile - Good understanding of Distribution model and how iDOC works in general - Experience working with EDI transactions - Deep understanding of troubleshooting interface issues in both PI and SAP systems - Good working knowledge of BPM (ccBPM) - Working knowledge in ABAP development, specially the Proxy objects - Experience with developing interfaces between SAP and non-SAP applications - Experience with an SAP implementation project - Experience working with co-source/offshore vendors on development projects - Experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, FDA, etc.) subject to compliance controls - Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills - Relationship building skills with counterparts at SAP and other partners Regards, Sai Khanna, Kat Tech Systems inc Email:s...@kattechsystems.com Phone:630-233-8584 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
