Job Description:

Candidates must be currently working in the Chicago area.



Tech Questions:



1. Have you had to facilitate prioritization between a couple of different
groups (multiple business teams, Technology Support, Technology Development)
and if so, what challenges did you encounter and how did you address or
overcome them?

2. What is your level of expertise relevant to the different modules within
SAP/FI and how do they inter-relate or interact? To what degree do you
understand the data components of SAP/FI (Profit center, segment,
Hierarchies, etc) and the dependencies and relationships?

3. Have you had to work with an organization that is experiencing a large
degree of transition (Systems & Process transition, coming up to speed on
the learning curve, Organization transition)? If so, provide an example, and
describe how you were able to work your way through it?



Leader/manager within the client Finance Team responsible for facilitating
and managing new development, enhancements and systems support and for
applications that enable financial business activity. Primarily responsible
for the business interaction over a number of Finance applications and
facilitating solutions and support with a number of different PBSG Support
groups.



Role Description:



An expert in the business aspects of the Finance functional area with the
skill to provide a vision and strategy for the area but with the ability to
go deep into details to allow for the quick analysis of capabilities or to
solve problems. An individual with strong and effective interpersonal skills
who is able to work with all levels of the business organization. Working
with senior leadership, this person would be able to help detail out
business ideas or visions and translate them into systems or process
capabilities. This individual understands the direction the functional area
is moving towards and would be able to determine how to enable that business
direction.



Responsible for driving the Strat plan for their functional area with the
ability to execute against near-term requirements (within 1 year) and a
vision towards the next 3 to 5 years.



Must have very strong partnering and negotiation skills to facilitate
prioritization and effective progress against tasks across the multiple
business groups and varied support groups in PBSG.



o EAM

o Business Analytics

o DMO

o ESD

o Data Warehouse



This person will need to understand the business process and systems flow
from End-to-End so that they can recognize the impact a change in one area
or step might have on another area.



o Will need to work with the business team responsible for process and
procedures to ensure they are updated properly.

o Will need to ensure that Controls are maintained and updated accordingly.



Will schedule and facilitate periodic update client meetings with senior
leadership to communicate status and to discuss needs for the next 3 to 9
months.



o Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.

o Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate
alternative business solutions with project management.

o Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and
deepen client relationships.

o Manages client expectations effectively.



Attends functional conferences for their area to ensure they are up-to-date
on the latest trends.

Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's
organization and industry.



o Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry
practices when solving business problems.

o Pushes creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry
practices and client mindsets.



Delivers informative, well-organized presentations.

Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Strong understanding of the General Ledger processing in SAP and what cost
centers have been set up and how they are posted to.



Possesses a certain level of technical Understanding including:



o Possesses understanding in the areas of application programming, database
and system design especially in the area of SAP and it’s underlying system
modules and technologies.

o Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.

o Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.

o Will need a level of the knowledge in the technical components of the
applications to support performance issues.

o Will need to facilitate release/upgrade implementations especially if
down-time is expected.



People Manager: Manage a team of Functional Business Analysts for the
Finance areas:

Manages the Business Analysis and Project Management deliverables of the
team including the areas of:



o Analysis and Solution Definition

o Technical Recommendation and Testing

o Project Execution: Project Pursuit, Project Definition, Blueprinting and
Deployment



Manage the AOP and Budget for the functional area



Possesses key leadership qualities which will generate enthusiasm among team
members and challenges others to develop as leaders.



Demonstrates key teamwork behavior which facilitates effective team
interactions and shows appreciation for each team members contributions.



Skill Sets



Application Responsibilities: Responsible for Business interaction, issue
remediation and analysis and enhancement/project design across the following
functional business areas:



- Cost Accounting/GL

- Control

- CoPA Company Profitability

- BPS Business Planning and Simulation (R3 rollout). Includes planning for:
G&A, A&M, Supply Chain, Sales Finance, Capital

- Affiliate Sales

- Project Systems Includes Capital Planning

- TCM - Trade Claim Management (R6) for 2009 this will be Genesis
adjustments and deductions

- TFM Trade Funds Management (R6)

- Product Costing

- Coupons

- Fixed Assets

- Indirect Procurement

- A/P & A/R

- Responsible for driving compliance to SLAs agreed to with the business

- Responsible for ensuring Disaster Recovery plan is in place and is
appropriately prioritized

- Accountable for Controls and SOX compliance for the above applications
