TITLE: Data Architect
DURATION: 3-6 months
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA
KEY SKILLS: SQL 2008-2014, BI, Data Warehouse, Reporting

Great opportunity for a strong Data Architect to be part of the core group
for a start up backed by financially solid organization. This consultant
responsible for designing and maintaining all aspects of architecture of
the client’s platform data needs. This includes the core OLTP as well as
Data Warehouse needs. This position will work within the development team
to ensure consistent application of Database best practices and to ensure
that all data models are designed in a manner that efficiently satisfies
business needs. This is a pivotal role that carries great responsibility
across the development of the client’s platform.

 Requirements:

· 5+ years’ experience as SQL Server Data Architect

· Extensive SQL Server knowledge from 2008 R2 and up

· Database performance tuning (use of Profiler, Query Explanation Plan)

· Skilled in architecting structure of database to optimize performance

· Strong SQL language skills

· Ability to write and debug Stored Procedures

· Use of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS

· Ability to help in design of Data Warehouse and Data cubes

· Experience with in-memory database technologies a plus

· Master Data Services and Data Quality Services

· A backend (DB)Architect.

· Experience working with Clients to inform, mentor, and guide
overall solution design decisions.

· Experience guiding & mentoring designers & developers on the
team, and carrying out assessments / code/ design reviews.

· Own and update the Architecture Document.

· Design web services and define integration points.

· Design for Synchronous v/s Asynchronous api calls.

· Experience coding to meet the requirements for the solution &
creating technical documentation.

· Must be familiar with Web Services, Java technologies, Oracle
Technologies (Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Database, WebLogic). (Oracle
Unified Directory & Oracle HTTP Server Webgate are a plus).

· Must have Relational Database concepts & presentation skills.

· Financial Services Industry background a bonus.
