In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a roll-up your sleeves attitude. The challenging responsibilities of the role include: . Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple project priorities and post-production support responsibilities. . Work closely with the business community to translate business requirements to possible solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to: new program development, configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options. . Create business process designs (BPD) and business system designs (BSD) that meet the business needs, adhering to departmental documentation standards. . Deliver program requirements to developers and serve as the developer's point of contact for clarification and follow-up throughout the development process. . Responsible for the functional testing of the application (development and configuration) and the support of these applications when moved to production. . Responsible for communicating areas of expertise to varying levels of I/S and business management in a non-technical manner. Ability to gain trust of key users while managing conflict and escalating issues when necessary. . Ability to handle more than one complex task at a time. . Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with business users independent of I/S management. . Able to identify downstream impacts across functional and technical areas. . Keep management, other team members and other departmental employees aware of obstacles and status changes in a timely manner. .
