Job Title: SOA Integration Lead

Direct Client Position

Role Summary/Purpose
The Integration Lead professional will be responsible for guiding the full
lifecycle of solutions in the areas of Integration and Process-centric
computing technology including Hybrid SOA Integration, Application
Programming Interfaces (API) and API Management, Adaptive Case Management
and related areas. The solutions will include requirements analysis,
technology selection, technical architecture design, system design and
development, testing, and deployment. We are looking for candidates with
proven industry experience who possess a broad set of technology skills to
be able to design and build robust solutions on a pioneering Medicaid
engagement which includes scaling component solutions and operational data
stores.
In this ‘hands on’ role, you will support the Replacement MMIS Technical
Director and the Enterprise Systems Program Director for enterprise wide
strategy for IT Infrastructure & Application Automation, Orchestration and
Deployment. The responsibilities will also include developing enterprise
architecture artifacts, including current state architecture, “to be” state
architecture, architectural roadmaps, referential architecture patterns,
and technology standards.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Assist Replacement MMIS Technical Director and Enterprise Systems
Program Director with overall planning needs for the Integration Strategy;
2. Ensure that component planning/activities are aligned with the
Integration Strategy;
3. Work with the Technical Director on implementing the associated
requirements;
4. Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Subject Matter
Experts on the requirements of the Replacement MMIS Initiative
5. Collaborate with SCDHHS agency staff and vendors on the implementation
requirements of the Replacement MMIS and other PMO impacted projects
Basic Qualifications:

Experience in one or more of the following -
• Technical architecture and programming
• Experience with SOA / Web Services lifecycle (design, build, test,
deploy)
• Experience with web API lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy)
• Experience with web API Management approach, tools and concepts
• Experience with web API or SOA / Web Service Strategy & Governance
• Experience with API vendors
• Experience with iPaaS
• Experience with iPaaS vendors
• Knowledge of Service Now integrations and CMDB
• Understanding of Web Service development
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, PHP,
Shell Script, Perl, Python, .NET, etc.
• Understanding of OS scripting environments (Unix and Windows)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms / environments / API’s
• Knowledge of orchestration tools
• Experience as Lead Developer or Architect on large enterprise-level web
applications
• Skill in Agile Methodologies such as Extreme Programming and/or SCRUM
preferred
• High energy and passion for DevOps
• Track record of leveraging contemporary tools and techniques to automate
infrastructure provisioning, management and monitoring.
• Skill in production infrastructure environments
• Familiar with application design tools such as Eclipse
• Familiar with popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts
• Demonstrable competence in programming and shell scripting.
• Bachelor’s Degree

Required Knowledge / Skills:
• Experience with high-performance, open source web technologies: with
monitoring systems
• Experience in architecting web application and network for heavy volume
sites
• Experience in web performance and security and system hardening
• Experience with open source databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
• Knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, NTP, DN
• Release management experience
• Experience with integrating with Mitigation services
• Experience with multi-business unit integrations
• Experience with workflow management systems
• Experience in guiding the team with operational, technical efforts with
efficiency, security for high performing systems
• DevOps / Operations experience with heavy traffic multisite deployment
10+ years industry experience, with at least 8 plus years of Web related
experience, preferably with a track record for managing production of heavy
traffic, consumer-facing websites.
Timely engagement with SC DHHS vendors, external contacts, and other third
parties to insure relevance and longevity of the Infrastructure Environment
