Not picky on what the tool is as long as they've understood how to set up automation. It can be as simple as writing scripts, or more complicated like using *Puppet, or experience with Jenkins, etc (3-5 years’ experience)* •Good understanding of any of the programming languages *(java, C++, C#, etc)* but need to be able to explain how the application they wrote actually works with the infrastructure it's running on. •(*One of the biggest failings I see is they don't understand Linux /Windows operating system when you get into the communication layer within the OS and they have no idea how that actually functions underneath their application.) * •Working knowledge of *database technology (SQL and NoSQL)* •Really looking for a self-starter. Someone who is continuously self-educating themselves on different programs, languages, etc. Someone hungry to learn. •Needs to have some leadership abilities they've demonstrated.
