In general, the resources will be part of two migration teams focus on all the work that goes into migration planning/prepping as well as executing the actual migration event. Past migration experience between datacenters is a plus and knowledge with P2V and V2V migrations. Experience with VMware, Red Hat Linux virtualization, Satellite Server and System Imager* * Must haves - General UNIX system administration skills - RHEL 3, 4, and 5 specific system administration skills - RHEL installation and provisioning using Kickstart - RHEL file system management using LVM - RHEL SAN experience - Excellent RHEL troubleshooting skills - Experience with migrating servers between datacenters and knowledgeable of Physical to Virtual and Virtual to Virtual server migrations - Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of the LINUX platform in front of customer and their vendors i.e. giving our customer a strong comfort level with our LINUX expertise Nice to have - Linux on HP hardware - familiarity with SIM, PSP, SmartStart - RHCT or RHEL Certification - 3+ years enterprise level experience - Deploying RHEL on VMWare ESX - SystemImager Shell scripting Thanks & regards, *RAM* *e**People Tech.
