Please let me know if you have any suitable consultant for my direct client. Position : Unix Admin. (Face to Face) Location : Phoenix, AZ Duration : 6 + Months Contract. candidates must be local and available for an in person interview. No execptions. - Install software, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts. - Incident management - System failure analysis and recovery; insuring system consistency and integrity. - Problem management - Ability to analyze problems, determine root cause, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution. - Proficient knowledge and practice of Unix Shell scripting or Perl. - Ability to deal with changing priorities and handle multiple projects. - Participation in oncall rotation in a 24x7 data center environment. - In-depth knowledge of Solaris 10,11(zones & vm's/LDOMS) RedHat Linux(AS 3,4 & 5). - Minimum of 5yrs professional experience in a large to mid-sized data center environment. - Experience with storage area networking as it applies to systems administration. - Experience supporting applications such as Tibco, Weblogic, Veritas, EMC Networker a plus. - Experience working with Oracle and Dell hardware, Vmware guests desirable. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. - Strong troubleshooting skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Candidate must be highly motivated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
