Job Title: Architect Emphasis Report Developer Location: Grand Rapids, MI Duration: 6+ month Need citizen & gc Description: Work w/Supply Chain Department (retail buyers, logistics, merchandise, etc) to identify MicroStrategy objects needed to support vendor performance measurements. Responsibilities: Create schema layer, reports, and Narrowcast services. Technical Requirements 4+ years of MicroStrategy experience; prefer candidates with MicroStrategy 9.0 experience Proficient w/SQL Extensive experience creating schema objects, application objects, and performance tuning. Experience w/Flash dashboard development is preferred (though not required) Non-Technical Requirements: Excellent oral/written communication skills -- must be able to communicate with business customer/non-technical users to gather business requirements. Ability to manage timelines and deliverables. Retail experience is a strong plus. This position has had candidate back-outs, so it is imperative that we pursue only those candidates who can make the full commitment to the 6+ month contract duration.
