*Onsite:* On location at the Client’s site 100% of the time. No
telecommuting or remote work.
*Description:* Our Client, a government agency, is looking to hire a SAP
Configurator in Miami, FL.
*Responsibilities:*
• Assist in the upgrade of the SAP finance modules from ECC 6 EHP 3 to ECC
6 EHP 8;
• Responsible for configuration design and delivery of the SAP finance
modules with plant maintenance and SRM extended classic scenario and SRM
procurement for public sector for Client;
• Configure the SAP finance modules, including funds management, to work
with SRM 7;
• Extended Classic and Procurement for Public Sector including creating a
test plan and writing and/or updating related functional specifications;
• Configure the SAP finance modules, including funds management, to work
with Plant;
• Maintenance including creating a test plan and writing and/or updating
related functional specifications;
• Configure the CO (Cost Accounting) module to work with Plant Maintenance
including creating a test plan and writing and/or updating related
functional specifications;
• Configure, test and validate settlement (closure) of plant maintenance
work orders where the funding structures are actually debited for the
expense;
• Configure or write the functional spec to allow plant maintenance work
orders to encumber funding upon creation of the WO, to set WO limits and
allow updates to WO limits;
• Configure or write the functional spec for the plant maintenance work
order approval chain;
• Assist the HR resource with the integration of plant maintenance work
order time with the HR / payroll system;
• Hold knowledge transfer sessions with the appropriate M-DCPS
configuration staff.

*Requirements:*
• Experience with SAP ECC configuration in integrating the SAP finance,
cost accounting, and funds management modules with plant maintenance and
SRM extended classic;
• Experience of FI, CO, and FM;
• Documentation of experience in testing and implementation;
• Experience with K-12 (preferred).

State of North Carolina is seeking functional and technical support for the
Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) functions in SAP environment and adequate
functional support for the SAP hosting services project. This environment
services over 5,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0,
Business Objects, CRM, SRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE,
and PI.


FI/CO support includes but is not limited to: providing guidance in
aligning NCDOT's business processes with SAP Best Practices functionality,
performing functional configuration and customization, maintaining system
integrity, and component integration with SAP ECC and Enterprise Portal.
Additional responsibilities include writing functional and technical
specifications, developing test plans & performing system testing. The
fiscal accountability and management of NCDOT’s diverse activities is
extremely complex and requires a robust business system that will provide
meaningful, accurate, and timely information for the various needs of
public/private end users, the Federal and State government and departmental
and administrative requirements.


Role responsibilities:


• Responsible for the solution design, configuration, testing and
maintenance of the SAP FI/CO modules in ECC 6.0.   (AP, AR,   FA,GL, SPL). •
Responsible for the solution design, configuration, testing and maintenance
of the SAP FM modules and SAP Budget in ECC 6.0.
 • Experience and knowledge of integration points
of FI/CO/FM modules and across other SAP modules. • Responsible for
Production support to troubleshoot, investigate, analyze and solve software
problems. • Responsible for working with business users and clients to
gather and document business requirements for system changes and to develop
solutions to satisfy business needs. • Responsible for analyzing the impact
changes will have on other internal/external business application systems. •
Responsible for developing all documentation related to system changes per
NCDOT change control polices and procedures.
