Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *SharePoint Developer* *Downtown NYC (locals only)* *6+months* *Rate- $55/Hr* *Local required* Need excellent communication Skills or the client will reject the consultants *Description:* The IT department of a prestigious NYC law firm has a temporary opening for a SharePoint expert; someone who will assist in the design and ongoing enhancement of our intranet web platform and use the full potential of SharePoint to improve business processes throughout the organization in creative ways. He/she will have tons of autonomy and must be able to excel in that kind of environment. He/she will continue the trend of excellence the IT department has established and make our environment a model for others to mimic. The ideal candidate writes clean code and prefers an elegant solution while following best practices and proven industry standards. His/her finished products 'just work' and often 'wow' your stakeholders for whom you have no problem presenting. Ability to proactively research, become the subject matter expert in, implement and finally teach others about is essential. He/she will have the opportunity and are expected to be involved in all areas of SharePoint (development, design, administration, architecture, search. etc.) as well as connecting systems and legacy applications *NOTE: A four year degree is required for this role.* *Requirements*: · Technologies we expect to see leveraged may include: · SharePoint 2013 development, administration, troubleshooting, health, performance experience · Execution & app models, client-side rendering, custom web parts · Design experience including branding, CSS, themes and master pages · 2010 Workflows & 2013 Workflow Manager experience · ASP.NET, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, LINQ, XSLT, BCS, SDLC, CSOM, JSOM, REST API, SSRS, SQL & IIS, Visual Studio · Knowledge of other platforms will aid in transitioning legacy applications to SharePoint · Other Skills and Desired Responsibilities (the more the better): · Written and verbal communication abilities is critical.
