SEND TO : guf...@vajrasoft.com * * * *Position: Sr. C# .Net Developer * Location: Atlanta, GA Contract - 3+ months POSITION OVERVIEW: The successful candidate will be part of the IS department, working with the Business Enterprise Solutions team. This team enjoys the opportunity of developing new solutions utilizing the very latest Microsoft technologies. Each developer is assigned their own MSDN license, giving them development access to nearly all of Microsoft's solutions. As an added benefit, after team members have learned their way around and proven their ability to be successful, they are eligible for IS's remote worker program. Participants in this program currently get to work from home on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, when meetings and assignments allow. Candidates for this position must possess good development, technical and communication skills, be very knowledgeable of Object Oriented (OO) design concepts and patterns, and have an extensive familiarity with Microsoft technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES: Writing code will be the primary daily responsibility for the individual filling this position. This code will need to appropriately leverage a variety of technologies, including Silverlight, RIA Services, Entity Framework, LINQ, WCF, and ASP.NET utilizing the C# programming language. In addition to the daily writing of code, the analysis of business requirements and verbal discussion of the desired design within the team as well as the architects will be necessary. Troubleshooting and resolution of production problems will also be assigned as they arise. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: · 4 year degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field · 5+ years hands-on experience developing OO web solutions with C# and the .NET Framework · 2 years hands-on experience with Silverlight, RIA Services, Entity Framework, LINQ and WCF · Passion for developing web based solutions that exceed customer expectations · Team player and able to work with minimal supervision · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Good communication skills: written, oral and presentation - including, but not limited to, communication with technical peers, managers and writing / presenting innovative ideas · Exemplifies a willingness to keep skills current · Knowledgeable of secure development practices · Committed to quality and continuous improvement · Able to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive schedules, evolving requirements and new technologies · Willing to be accountable for performance and not shirk responsibility PREFERRED SKILLS: · MVC/MVVM design patterns · Microsoft Windows Workflow Foundation (WF) · Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) · Developing in an Agile development environment · Test Driven Development (TDD) · Excellent interpersonal skills · Attention to detail Thanks & Regards *Gufran* _____________________________________________ Vajra Soft, LLC.
