Location : Folsom CA. 1 # Senior EMC ECC Specialist Skills: EMC Storage administration and troubleshooting skills. Ability to address issues around Agent Status, failing agents, ETL Failures, SMI issues, manage alerts, configure and define alerts, significant expertise required on ECC 6.0 and higher to be able to discover, report and manage entire landscape consisting of combination of Symmetrix, Clariion, Centera, Celerra, NetApp. Job involves analyze identification of ports, health-checks of systems, Process documentation, Daily Check List, Security Policies etc. Candidate should be proficient in all EMC technologies, SAN architecture, Troubleshooting, design, validation and consolidation of very large production environment consisting of Peta-bytes of storage capacity in a heterogeneous and virtualized environment using ESX, and Hypervisors. · Cover technical project issues · This would include (but not limited to)troubleshooting issues with the infrastructure and may include the following · Agent Status/Failing agents · WLA status · ETL failures · Performance manager issues · Agent balancing · Undiscovered ports · SMI issues · Web console issues etc. · Perform upgrade to agents/infrastructure · Perform bundle updates (Bundle 11 Thin prov support) · Alert analysis · Alert configurations · Integration gateway for OPS manager · EMC connect home for Brocade switches · Security analysis and configuration · Assist with documentation · This may include (But not limited to)sustaining process documentation for the infrastructure · Unidentified port analysis · Systematic health checks · Reading Agent logs · Common troubleshooting on known issues · Document Technical Health check process · Document Operational health Check process (Daily checklist) · Document and establish process for sustaining of patches and bundles. · Document Security policies for ECC · Assist with ECC Tool ownership mentoring. · Other processes as may be defined during the course of the project 2 # Senior EMC Specialist for Device Discovery work a. The tasks required in this space include (but not limited to) the 100% discovery of the following devices/hosts b. Clariion c. Symmetrix d. Nas (Celerra) e. Centera f. Brocade Switches g. Hosts i. Windows (2003/2008) ii. Linux iii. Hypervisors (VM's) iv. ESX v. Unix h. Define DCP's i. Define scalability for agents j. SMI configuration k.
