Nothing more than that as far as technical skills. -The main purpose of this position is to act as intermediate between Development group and DBA team - Coordinate Database changes (from either direction - development of new objects from team, upgrades, etc from DBA) - Work with Development and DBA team for some/all of the following (Not official list from client): - Performance tuning with the development team - Database modeling and design advice for the development team - Manage security of lower environments (Dev/QA) – Create database objects (tables, views, triggers, functions, procedures, etc...) - Manage indexing efforts - Develop DML scripts for upgrades and mass changes for the development team - Develop/manage upgrade DDL scripts - Assist DBAs with major upgrade/DB changes and efforts; coordinate with development team for project planning - Advise on proper storage locations - Troubleshoot dev/QA issues with development - Troubleshoot/assist DBAs for production issues Thanks Ashu Jain 230 652 1444 Ext 293 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
