*Title: Sr. Sybase Developer* *Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 6+ Months* ** *Hourly rate: DOE* *Description* Looking for a hands-on database developer to join its HR IT Rewards team. The team is responsible for managing a number of key compensation management systems, some of which are used by all employees at the firm. The specific role is for a senior developer for the development of firm’s global compensation modeling system. The system is built using a .Net front-end, a Java-based web services middle-tier and a Sybase back-end. *Responsibilities* · Work closely with the business analysts to understand requirements for projects of varying levels of complexity. · Create technical specification documents detailing database design. Although not required, the ideal candidate would also be well-versed with Java and .Net and would be able to create detailed specifications across all tiers. · Create and/or modify tables, indexes and stored procedures for projects as well as enhancements and bug fixes.
