Education: 4 yr degree in Computer Science or related field - preferred Experience: The individual in this position will work within the Eaton Pulse team, to design, develop, and support processes and procedures necessary to grow the Real Time data warehouse and to provide related BI applications. • Minimum of 5 years experience with proven hands-on competency in business intelligence tools ( strong SQL Skills , Qlikview, Experience extracting data from ERP Systems, ) Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities and presentation skills. • Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support methodology. • Assist in planning projects (e.g., setting goals, estimating effort, projecting schedule, etc) a) Analyze, organize, and prioritize reporting requirements b) Profile the data necessary to meet the reporting requirements, back to the data source. c) Design solutions to meet the reporting requirements d) Design or assist in designing the data model necessary to meet the reporting requirements. e) Design or assist in the design of the mappings necessary to extract, transform, and load (ETL) the data into the data model necessary to meet the reporting requirements f) Create training materials and conduct training on reporting solutions. g) Create documentation to establish requirements traceability and help the user community • Work in a hands-on capacity to technically architect and lead teams to deliver business intelligence solutions. • Share BI best practices and mentor other members of the development /consulting team. • Experience developing and delivering solutions in Informatica/ Cognos Business Intelligence environments. • Strong conceptual knowledge of business intelligence design and implementations including: data modeling, data warehousing, data marts, data cubes, ETL design, etc. Functional Skills: • Ability to present demonstrations to high-level senior management. • System design and solution architecture expertise. • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. • Strong written / oral communication skills.
