| Duties & Responsibilites : | Skills Required / Desired: IDMS system programming experience Required 11 Years Knowledge of IDMA database structures Required 11 Years Ability to independently research and resolve problems Required 11 Years Extensive JCL experience Required 11 Years Experience using IDMS DBA utilities Required 11 Years Monitor/tune CV and batch performance (SYGEN, DMCL buffers, etc.) Required Perform database changes (restructure, unload/reload, rollback and roll forward, etc) Highly desired Experience and ability to migrate ADS and DC-COBOL programs to QA and production Highly desired Experience installing and upgrading software for IDMS and third party products Highly desired Maintain in-house web service software Highly desired Skills with other database platforms a plus (DB2, SQL Server, Teradata) Highly desired Experience with ADS and COBOL Desired |
