We are looking for a voice architect with:
Oracle (ACME) SBC is most important with either contact center or carrier as secondary. I would rank as follows:
1. ACME SBC
2. Contact Center
3. Carrier
-This is a project based contact center migration with a 3 year plan.
The first phase is the migration from legacy TDM (DS3) toll free services to SIP toll free services which requires the SBC technology.
Below are specific criteria:
1. SIP Technologies
-Candidate must have a working knowledge of the IETF SIP standard.
-This would include SIP sessions and messages, SIP SDP and early offer, SIP normalization and transparency, SIP trunking, and SIP design principals and best practices, etc.
-The candidate would also need to be able to decode SIP traces with Wireshark or a similar tool.
2. VoIP Technologies
Candidate must have a working knowledge of VoIP technologies including RTP, signaling, QoS, CTI, Codecs and faxing, and the integration of these technologies with legacy TDM technologies such as PRI and CAS. This would be desirable over a number of vendor product offerings including Cisco, Avaya and Oracle (ACME Packet), etc.
3. Dial-Plan Design and Management
Candidate must have a working knowledge of public and private dial-plan services such as the NANP, router dial peer configurations, translation pattern configurations, etc. for POTS and SIP service integration.
4. Contact Center Technologies
Candidate should have knowledge of contact center services including call recording, agent and skill distribution methodologies, PCI compliance requirements, VRU and ACD services, data service integration etc. Avaya Session Manager knowledge would be beneficial.
5. Carrier Services and Offerings
Candidate must have knowledge of carrier transport networks supporting public toll-free SIP service offerings such as Verizon BEST. This would include understanding of the carrier specific QoS models, network interfaces and options, and network transport service technologies offered, such as Verizon Private IP (PIP) and the options for Ethernet.
6. Oracle (ACME Packet) SBC Technologies
Candidate must have a strong understanding of the Oracle SBC product line, and how to design and integrate toll-free SIP services using these products. This would include physical hardware and failover capabilities, software versions and features, licensing and scaling, complex SBC configurations, call detail recording, forking, security, monitoring and management, and integration with Avaya Session Manager PBX services (desirable).
