| Duties & Responsibilites : | The Front-End Developer works directly with the digital team designers and programmers, assisting in any development-based duties.
As a key contributor towards the developmental and functional success of client campaigns, the Front-End Developer participates in all team meetings that involve planning, executing, and strategizing for development work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Slice PSDs and convert them to HTML and CSS, using modern web standards and clean code.
-Test our sites across browsers and troubleshoot site presentation.
-Providing accurate timing estimates on work.
-Modify templates and tweak existing sites.
-Identify internal projects to help our team run more efficiently.
-Contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification).
-Train other non-technical staff particularly designers.
-Contributing to the company development standards.
-Creating technical solutions for clients and providing innovative new ideas to solutions.
-Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects and staying ahead of the market and position yourself and the company as a digital specialist.
-Constantly seeking to develop yourself by learning new technologies.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Excellent HTML, XHTML, CSS programming skills
-Coding valid XHTML and CSS mark-up
-Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
-Exceptional _javascript_ programming skills
-Experience with JQuery
-Knowledge of working with _javascript_ frameworks to create rich interactive content
-Experience integrating with server-side code to produce dynamic pages
-Excitement about emerging web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
-Good understanding of Web Accessibility
-Experience working with version control systems such as Team Foundation
-Knowledge of HTML Email best practice desirable
-Experience creating templates in a CMS like, WordPress, Drupal, etc.
-Innate creative sensibilities with a high degree of sensitivity to design nuance
-Familiarity with Photoshop
-Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
-A desire to learn more about creative and web technologies

Educational and Experience Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Systems or equivalent experience
