The position will report directly to an Engineering Manager. This is a hands-on development role with expectations of core development and technology leadership. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior associates on the team. *Required Skills * • 5+ years’ of related technical experience • 5+ years’ experience developing enterprise level applications • 5+ years’ experience with Object oriented development using Java • 4+ years’ experience with iOS development • Understanding of Java design patterns • 6+ years’ experience with Spring Framework, Tomcat, Apache, JSP or PHP • 3+ years’ of experience with website development across jQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS, WebKit, web service stacks, REST and/or SOAP • Able to provide thorough test coverage using JUnit and mocking frameworks • Be open minded and current with the latest technologies *Primary Responsibilities * • Work closely with the business and other areas to understand and contribute to the execution of Staples Mobile projects • Assure execution of projects by delivering assigned tasks in a timely manner • Ensure projects are deployed on time with little to no downtime • Establish and sustain a high level of partnership with the Business.
