*Position : MongoDB Developer Location : Nashville/Franklin TN Duration : 6-9 Months * *Phone and F2F or Skype* *Description of Role/Responsibilities: * Client is currently seeking a talented database developer to join the team of a talented healthcare company here in Nashville. This person will act as a member of the primary database team to identify database solutions, issues, and problems. This person will also monitor the performance of the database servers and enact tuning where appropriate. This team is in the process of establishing, implementing and monitoring backup and recovery procedures and this person will need to be a major part of this process by bringing their experience to bear on this process. Also this person will need to monitor storage trends and take necessary action to accommodate for the ever growing environment. *Required Skills:* In depth experience in database development and administration, specifically MongoDB in a 24x7 enterprise-level operation Experience with high availability database architectures. Experience in database performance tuning. Demonstrated ability to document schema models and other system architecture diagrams. Experience with open source databases like MongoDB and PostGres. *Desired Skills: * Experience with Microsoft SQL a plus B.S. in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
