*Locartion: Costa Mesa CA *

*Contract , C2H and fulltime ( GC and USC is preferred ) *

*PHONE + Skype Interviews *



*Must have:*

o6 to 9 years’ experience

o in Systems Engineering/DevOps role is required

oCandidate must have demonstrated a strong knowledge of Linux systems
and internals (CentOS preferred)

oExperience in creating software to automate production systems with 1
of the following languages: python, ruby, java, go, etc. Python/Go
experience is preferred.

oGood understanding of networking and related protocols, must have a
strong understanding of fundamentals

o*Candidate must have a demonstrated experience troubleshooting
problems and working with a team to resolve large scale production issues*

o*Strong experience with configuration management, monitoring and
systems tools (ie: Puppet, Nagios, Cacti, Graphite, Logstash, etc).*

oGood understanding of Mysql

· *Nice to have:*

oExperience with Linux package management tools eg: rpm, deb & fpm etc.

oExperience working with cloud-based (AWS) or hybrid environments
(OpenStack) is highly desirable

oAdditionally, a working knowledge of Hadoop (Map Reduce, HDFS) is
preferred

o*Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing
methods (git, jenkins)*

o*Familiarity with NoSQL technologies eg: mongodb, redis etc*

o*Experience with automation using either Puppet, Chef etc*

oExperience with CI, Jenkins and Continuous Deployment

oExperience in Python, Ruby or other similar languages

oKnowledge of security best practices

oAbility to track down root causes and fix them in systematic ways
