As part of engagement Wipro is looking for strong Java Back-End Developers. Mandatory Development Skills • Extensive experience with building highly scalable and redundant Java back-end services • 6+ years of experience with Java Back-End programming languages • 5+ years in Web Service concepts, with focus on exporting WSDL • 4+ years with caching and performance optimization techniques including sort algorithms • 4+ years Multithreading and Synchronization (wait/notify/notifyAll, SwingUtils.invoke Later, the concurrency library) • 3+ years in java scripting • 3+ years in web authentations : oath, json tokens, etc. • 2+ year integrating with SQL databases • Knowledgeable on real time (Spark, Storm) data vs. batch processing (Hadoop, DynamoDB). • Knowledgeable of roles of key external components to help with redundancy, scalability and replication such as load balancers, databases Mandatory Core Java Skills • Easily able to demonstrate basic scripting knowledge. (ps, find, grep, awk, ..) • Difference between UDP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS? • Work experience in exposing and ingesting REST and SOAP interfaces and the ability to describe the difference, and pros / cons between each. • Extensive work experience and the ability to describe o Asynchronous API o Java Collection, including Array List, Hash Table, Hash Map, Linked List. o Understands the class loading process and how class loaders work o File IO and Serialization o Property of idempotency o Java Keywords - Static , Final , volatile, synchronized , transient, this super etc. o DAO objects in Hibernate. o Lazy loading. o Strings Immutability o Must have experience developing multi-threading applications. • Implemented hibernate concepts of lazy and eager loading. • Implemented spring framework with Bean Factory and Application Context and its differences • What is a run-time exception, how do you catch this error. What does it generate? What are examples of run-time exception?
