Please do respond back to me if you are interested for below position... *ETL developer – Denver, CO* *Looking consultants for Full time or Contract to Hire(C2H)* This ETL developer position requires proven experience in the design, development and implementation of ETL scripts and/or jobs including: • Ensure accuracy & integrity of data & applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation & problem resolution. • Analyze & translate functional specifications & change requests into technical specifications. • Develop, test & implement program logic. • Translate business needs into end user applications • Involved in the design and development of complex ETL mappings and stored procedures in an optimized manner. • Create metadata queries which would help in restart and to find out any missing link conditions or disabled tasks in the ETL job stream. • Fine-tune ETL jobs/scripts for performance optimization. • Debug ETL scripts/jobs by creating logic that assigns a severity level to each error, and sends the error rows to error table so that they can be corrected and re-loaded into a target system. • Involved in Unit testing and System testing. *Job Description:* 3+ years of IT industry experience with 2+ years’ experience with Data Conversion/Migration projects • Be able to analyze the data structures, develop mappings, document the ETL system design and communicate the same with the Business SMEs/Analysts • Extensive hands-on expertise using industry standard ETL tools like SAP Data Integrator/Data Services or Informatica Powercenter 9.x/8.x/7.x/6.x/5.x or IBM Datastage and Erwin Data Modeler • Min 2+ years database experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL – PL SQL is a must • Experience in writing shell scripting for various ETL needs and worked on integrating data from flat files (mainframe). • 3 or more years of experience with Oracle Database performance tuning • 3 or more years of experience with Oracle Database Patching • Strong problem solving and analytical skills • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc): • SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Linux/Unix environment • SAP Data Services/Data Integrator (preferred) *Skills Required* (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc):• SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, Linux/Unix environment • SAP Data Services/Data Integrator (preferred).
