*Pentaho Business Analytics Developer* with experience accessing Hadoop and
RDBMS data sources to implement advanced dashboards and Operational
reporting including advanced time series analyses:

· BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

· 8 years of extensive IT experience with Java, map reduce ETL

· Minimum 4 years Pentaho UI reporting technologies experience

· Comprehensive experience configuring and utilizing the community
edition, Pentaho Big Data and Business Analytics package in a Linux
environment

· Wide exposure to all advanced dashboard and reporting
presentation types offered and supported in Pentaho.

· Languages experience: Java and scripting

· Unix/Linux Environment- scripting skills

· RDBMS Experience Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL

· Advanced charting and graphing especially time series data
analysis

· Advanced skills in delivering OLTP transactions insight using
dimensional data mart structures

· Solid experience defining and delivering drilldown analyses and
highly filtered tabular reporting across multiple levels

· Skills at utilizing web services to obtain access to and depict
information provided by services solutions.

· Dashboard construction and UI storyboarding experience and
prototyping of engaging user analysis sessions

· Highly filterable reporting including scheduling and delivery of
reporting in multiple formats including MSExcel worksheet versions, email,
XML and other formats.

· Demonstrated experience tuning and providing advanced analytics
experiences that are timely and responsive to user UI interactions.

· Has connect to and used big data to drive dashboards and reporting

· Highly adept at promptly and thoroughly mastering new
technologies with a keen awareness of new industry developments and the
evolution of next generation programming solutions.

· Pentaho – High skill-5 years experience

· Big Data; Cloudera’s implementation preferably – Medium skill

· Oracle SQL and PL/SQL -Medium skill

· Data Warehouse experience - Low

· Microstrategy  - Low

· Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Programmer to
develop, maintain and assist in the design of BI systems.

· These include but are not limited to ETL scripts, html and java
interfaces in Microstrategy and our mobile device applications.

· They will collaborate with the Product Manager and Data Warehouse
Designer to ensure end user requirements are met.

· A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred but relevant work
experience may be substituted.

· Experience working with Oracle and/or other relational database
management systems, and the use of database query tools using SQL is
required along with 3 or more years of related experience in programming
