Call me @9199121131 *Role and Responsibilities* This position’s primary responsibility includesplanning, design, implementation and ongoing administration of the department’s VMware and mid-size storage array infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience with: · Design, implementation and support of virtual server and SAN/storage array infrastructure within a medium to large enterprise environment. · Windows Servers, Active Directory/Group Policy and other Microsoft "back-office" systems in a mission-critical, production data center environment. · Direct administration of VMware vSphere, Hitachi and Nimble storage arrays and both Fibre Channel and iSCSI SAN’s preferred. *Qualifications and Education Requirements* · Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field and five (5) years of related work experience within a medium to large enterprise environment (2,000+ users). An equivalent combination of education and related experience beyond the minimum requirements may substitute for the experience requirement on a year-for-year basis. Additional years directly related experience may substitute for the minimum education requirement. · Must have strong: o VMware virtual server and mid-tier disk storage array/SAN support and administration knowledge and skills, to design, build, maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical, highly available customer-facing services. o Sense of customer focus and service delivery. o Knowledge of data center systems design and development processes, including requirements analysis, system/solution design, testing, installation, and operational management. o Knowledge of and ability to adhere to IT Service Management processes. o Organization and time management skills. o Interpersonal, oral and written skills with the ability to present complex technical subject matter to management. *Preferred Skills/Certifications* · VMware Certifications · Microsoft Server/AD/ Certification(s) · ITIL/IT Service Management Certification(s) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
