Please forward your consultant updated Resume with the contact details ASAP to *pava...@avanitechsolutions.com <pava...@avanitechsolutions.com>* *Role : Oracle DBA using Oracle 10 gr2 or Higher* *Location : Atlanta, GA* *Duration : 12+ Months* *REQUIRED SKILLS:* • 5 or more years of Oracle admin experience for large enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence environments using at least Oracle 10gr2 or higher • 5 or more years of performance tuning experience in a very large database environment, including enabling and interpreting extended SQL tracing, creating and tuning materialized views, partitioning • 3 or more years of UNIX/LINUX experience • 3 or more years of experience in a production Oracle 11g environment including RAC, PL/SQL, OEM Grid control, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, Partitioning, database tuning and troubleshooting • 3 or more years of experience implementing and integrating enterprise identify and access management solutions within an Oracle environment • Experience working with Oracle database's internal structures • Experience with data modeling tools including ERwin and/or ER/Studio *RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:* • Provide database administration for mission-critical, terabyte-scale OLTP database (Oracle 11g). Install, configure, upgrade, migrate and patch Oracle 11g databases in heterogeneous environment. Maintain and publish the database installation/operation guide and other pertinent documentation. • Design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex database environments, physical structures. Plan, implement and maintain Disaster Recovery methodology. • Uphold enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new/improved guidelines • Partner with project teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed databases. Work with technical architects to ensure data model meets the platform's requirements for the business and technical perspective. • Define business object/database table mappings and structures, fail-over strategies and distributed data strategies • Ensure database objects (views, stored procedures, triggers and constraints), SQL statements, and database migration scripts meet performance and security objectives • Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the database management skills of database administration, Web connectivity, physical structure, overall architecture, and database analysis • Provide standardization and consistency across environments • Ensure a stable and secure database environment • Apply database management consulting skills and gathers user requirements • Implement and monitor database functionality to ensure stable environments • Identify and initiate resolutions to user problems and concerns associated with database server equipment (hardware and software) • Proven ability to plan and execute disaster recovery strategies including working with architects to correctly configure hardware and software to ensure a coherent and workable backup and disaster recovery strategy • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead the activities required to establish and maintain large Oracle databases for JEE applications in large development environments • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business users in a clear and concise manner.
