Sr. Juniper Secure Access (SA) Engineering Function:
The following skills are required.
Candidate is expected to be expert in the following technical areas:
• Secure Access product Knowledge and HANDS ON experience with the SA
series is an ABSOLUTE MUST.  Candidate must be able to take the lead on
complex Secure Access integration projects and drive them to completion.
Candidate must also have extensive experience managing multiple SA clusters
from a system administration perspective (building clusters out of the box,
code upgrades, config management & import/export between different
versions, etc).  They MUST have the ability to test, qualify, and rollout
out new versions of IVE code to 30+ production SA nodes.  They MUST have
expert knowledge and experience designing JSAM, WSAM, Pass-through Proxy,
Authentication schemes (NTLM, Kerberos, etc) SAML architecture
understanding AND engineering ability (server authentication, SSO
integration with PING, etc), Core Web Access, Custom Sign-on page
development, etc.  Candidate MUST be able to manage and LEAD projects of a
team of 2-3, be proficient in documentation (standards, Visio, etc), and
the ability to TRAIN and MENTOR L1/L2 personnel on new application
rollouts.  A background in Active Directory, web development, java, and
.NET is HIGHLY desirable but not an absolute requirement.  Candidate MUST,
and we must stress the word MUST again, have the ability to start planning
and implementing major projects upon starting, such as but not limited to:
new IVE version rollout, WSAM to JSAM conversion, Level 3 support and
escalations from L1/L2, design and implement new and complex application
access requests through Core Access (java based, flash, NTLM, etc).  In
addition, candidate MUST have strong initiative and leadership experience,
high energy, ambition, positive “can do” attitude, and ability to MENTOR
and TRAIN are absolutely critical to this role.
•  Network attack and penetration methods and defenses
•  TCP/IP protocol including packet analysis
•  Layers 2-3 networking topologies/design
•  Comfortable in using Unix

Industry Knowledge
• Experience working on large complex projects
• Understanding of network infrastructure such as switches, routers, LANs,
etc, CCNP caliber knowledge but certification not a must.
• Familiarity with industry firewalls such as Juniper Netscreen or
Checkpoint
• Understanding of application integration, especially with Juniper reverse
proxy
• Will be working in a team of at least three and be able to communicate
effectively as a member of a team as well as take the lead on complex
projects and problem resolution.
