Client: SunGard Rate: 45 hour Duration: Long Term *Summary:* The Network Engineer is responsible for working with the Infrastructure Manager and/or other management to assist in engineering and developing reliable service delivery of the campus wide network, both wired and wireless. * * Specific Requirements: · Experience managing and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst 6509 Supervisory modules and Firewall Service modules. · Experience with configuring packet shaping technology. · Experience in managing and configuring Cisco Catalyst 35xx series switches. * * * * * Education and/or Experience:* Associate’s degree or equivalent from a technical school; 4-6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Specifications: * Direction Received:* Little to no instruction, expected to perform role independently. *Responsibility for Work of Others:* May lead projects and/or coordinate/direct the tasks of lower level network personnel. *Physical Demands and Work* *Environment:* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
